One Sanyo Eneloop AA to D converter.
Plug in an AA battery, and you have a D battery. Includes handy mechanism to keep the battery in it.
Please note, to an AA to D converter with a Maglite you may have to insert a piece of metal, eg a 5 cent coin, into the spring. That prevents the back of the AA from shooting through the spring.
Also called upsizer and adapter.

I bought 4 of them to use with a Varta lantern that uses D batteriesRating
It only requires 3 batteries but I bought 4 adapters to keep a spare one (the price of this adapter is low)
It is well made and with it I can use my Eneloop AA and save a lot of money without having to buy disposable batteries size D (Posted on 08-09-21)
