How to identify LG 18650 / 21700 battery manufacture date code?

With LG 18650 batteries we can get many information about our 18650 batteries. There are two rows, first one shows us information about its origin of manufacture. The second row is where we are going to know which is the date of your battery.

Example 21700 battery from 2021

1 Sign, 1 letter production plant: +F

1 Letter year: A = 2021, B = 2022, C= 2023, etc.

3 numbers: Production day: 256 = 13th september

1 Letter, 1 number: Lot no: I39

1 number: Production line: 9

1 letter, 1 number: Serial no. N5

Older then +- april 2019

The date code of the batteries could be different in the new models.
