The BMV-712 Smart is the latest battery monitor with built-in Bluetooth, making it ready for the era of the Internet of Things (IoT). Bluetooth communication makes wireless connection to other Victron Energy products and system installations easy.
The main function of the battery monitor is to calculate the battery charge status and the number of ampere hours consumed. This is calculated based on the current flowing into or out of the battery.
Low power consumption: only 0.7 Ah per month (1 mA) at 12V and 0.6 Ah per month (0.8 mA) at 24V.
Easy to connect: comes with shunt, 10 meters RJ 12 UTP cable and 2 meters battery cable with fuse.
Easy to install: all electrical connections are made on the circuit board with quick couplings on the power shunt.
Input range: 9 - 90VDC
In addition to the basic display options such as voltage, current and ampere-hours consumed, the BMV-712 series also shows charging status, time remaining and power consumption in Watts. Including 500A shunt and 10 meters of cable between shunt and display.
