Armytek Barracuda Pro v2 XHP35 High Intensity Warm
This is the new Barracuda Pro v2 with XHP35 High Intensity Warm LED
Extreme brightness – 1 720 LED lumens
Unprecedented beam distance up to 775 meters for efficient illumination of large areas
Ultra-strong materials and robust construction guarantees total protection harsh impacts or vibrations
Light-weight flashlight with constant light and fail-proof reliability
Simple operation and continuous runtimes – 1 hour at maximal mode and almost 22 hours at middle mode
Сonstant brightness with almost discharged batteries and at -25ºC outside
Waterproof: Armytek claims ipx8, in our experience this is not true. So do not go swimming with it. It should survive when it is raining.
Guaranteed durability – stands up the recoil of any gun gauge and falling from 30 meters height
Take these values with a pinch of salt, Armytek does sometimes exaggerate a bit. Still, the output and beamdistance of this flashlight are stunning.
So far the build quality looks good, however switching between the different output modes has been changed by Armytek. You have to click slowly. If you click too fast, then you will not switch modes. You can easily wait a full second between the off-click and on-click to switch to a different mode.
the picture shows the cool white version, but this product is indeed the warm white version.
In Turbo 2 mode, the Barracuda does only have constant brightness when using the two 18650 li-ion batteries configuration. When using a single 18650 li-ion battery, then brightness is not regulated in Turbo 2 mode.
